ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Client Lead. This is a Full-time position based in Mumbai. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including Amazon’s Cross-channel marketing & Prime Video.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Work closely with the Executive Team to develop and lead our planning vision and proposition – multi-channel, on & offline that drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the exploration and deployment of “best in class” planning capabilities across the agency including the use of new channels, methods, techniques, tools and systems.
  • Oversee and mentor teams on Tactical Plans, Performance Reports, and Post-Campaign Analysis.
  • Continually strive for improvement and innovation by sourcing and developing new partnerships.
  • Lead, inspire, motivate and grow a team of expert planners to create clear, robust and thought-provoking campaign reviews and actionable insight.
  • Partner with the Client Service team to strengthen existing relationships throughout the planning process.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients and prospective clients to identify and deliver opportunities for media insight that will improve business results for clients
  • Be responsible for client’s deliverables like Campaign Management, Competition analysis, Reports, Reviews, AOPs. 
  • Responsible for expressing the strategic rationale behind media investment decisions and evidencing the performance vs. expected outcomes. 
  • Assist with new business by providing deep insight and expertise as the Planning expert and develop an active PR role to raise our industry profile 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 12-15 years of experience in the Digital Media or Advertising field.  
  • Minimum 3 years in an agency environment.
  • MBA degree in marketing & Communications. 
  • A proven track record in defining digital media strategies and plans, and leading media teams for large international clients.
  • Ability to forecast outcomes of brand/DR campaigns and manage spend
  • Deep digital and Traditional expertise across Media – TV, Print, Radio & Digital Display.
  • Experience with Media Research Tools (BARC, Yumi, ComScore, GWI, TGI, YouGov).
  • Demonstrated progression in a role managing a staff of 10+, directly and indirectly.
  • An Innovative Approach: in use of media, exploration of new forms of media and communication. 
  • Proven success in media planning process design, implementation and enhancement.
  • Experience in BD with a track record of success. 
  • Ability to question & challenge team at all levels with confidence, to arrive at a clear and unambiguous view of requirements.
  • Powerful POV on planning and measurement tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
  • Very strong client relationship skills; this role requires you to interact with C-level clients and partner with them to launch category-defining media campaigns.
  • Ability to scale, motivate and develop your team.
  • Effective and engaging written communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively. 
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
  • Passionate about digital and data, and well versed in the latest industry trends and news
